The Look
That’s it. That’s THE LOOK. You know -- that Gurlfytr look that says Don’t mess with me. When you have confidence, and a few moves to back that up, ladies, you can Rock the World. Check out our Self-Defense page, and go to work.

Determination
Determination is a feeling that comes from within. I am determined to succeed, to get more ripped, to be a better Mom, spend more time with my dogs, and become a better person. Little by little, an hour at a time -- yes, determined. Some would like to call that stubborn, but hey... whatever.

O-Mok-See
Now this is a picture! Girls’ Western Relay. Connie Soukup and Marcia Mason setting a national record with 2 Kansas O-Mok-See competitors in Gillette, Wyoming, 2002. There is nothing that feels cooler than making a qualifying run in O-Mok-See when you know it was also FAST. You can feel that; you know it. Your horse usually does, too. My mare smiles. Deana screamed, Marion and Ryan whooped, and Connie and I just went Wow, that was awesome. O-Mok-See (Indian Games on Horseback) is a very fun sport.

Traditional
Traditional backstance. White ghi, old belt -- good picture I saved for a rainy day.

Turn and Burn figure 8 Stake race at Nationals in Gillette, Wyoming. Turn and Burn. 22 different races in a 6 day show. Competitors from all over the US come together to race, catch up friendships, appoint new Royalty, and do what we love to do – RACE! O-Mok-See is a lot different from your average gaming events. We race in 4 lanes, all at the same time, with individual timers. Winning comes down to hundredths, not seconds. Minimum 30-50 riders in each division makes a great competition. You must start and stop in your lane, and anything you tip over, drop or miss is a disqualification. No 5 second penalty in this sport. You’re either on and fast, or you don’t win.
