Competition
One of the NBL tournaments in the west. Competition can be looked at in many different ways. Although I do not push it among my own students, I like to compete and so does my daughter. It teaches one how to be humble. I know that for a fact, because I have an Ego. It’s easy to win, hard to lose. That’s what keeps us training and perfecting and keeping on top of the physical aspects of staying in shape.

Western Jumping
Now that’s flying. That horse is flying. Looks easy, doesn’t it? Well, in another 20 feet she has to bend through 3 poles going as fast as possible, and back through, make the jump again, and cross the finish line without knocking anything over – including that jump. (Oh, and we do that in 11 seconds.) Horse and rider become one; you’re a machine that works together, feeling each other’s cues and muscles rippling.

Gourds
“A man dumb enough to bet his saddle is dumb enough to eat gourds.” -- Gus, from the Lonesome Dove novel.

Ripped
Ok, ladies – we won’t even go there on how old I am. Fact is you can get in shape and stay in shape no matter how old you are. It just takes common sense and some heart.  Download some of our Martial Arts exercises, and you’ll be on the road to getting ripped shoulders and cut biceps.

Being Brave
It’s not how you feel.
It’s what you do.
